Distinguished by the environmental organisation 'Legambiente' for the reduction of its environmental impact, the protection and promotion of the natural and cultural heritage of Elba island, the Hotel Danila, since 1956, has always improved its hospitality to host those who look for relaxation and peace. With us you find hospitality, a rich and regenerating nature, the scent of the the mediterranean vegetation, the cristal clear waters in the Biodola creek.

The hotel lies only a few meters away from the beaches of Scaglieri and Biodola and is situated on 4 garden terraces where you can find the 27 rooms, the restaurant, the kitchen, the halls and the reception.


Beyond our splendid white fine sandy beach is possible to have a walk between breathtaking panoramic pathways that start right from the hotel and dive in the peace of the surrounding wood.

Who wants to know the island in details we have possibility of organize excursions through trekking, mountain biking, snorkelling and kayak with specialized guide prepared to help you understanding the real essence of our land.

Sensible to your welfare in harmony with the ambient that surround us we eliminated aluminium; our drink is only served in glass or biodegradable materials or recyclables. The cleaning product are rigorously made from biodegradable materials, soap with pure vegetables oils from palms and coconut. Our paper is ecologic, the lighting is made from low energetic consume bulbs, but the most of our effort was to optimize the consume of water with an implant of recycling that gives power the recuperation of heat for the hot sanitarian water, hot air and air conditioning.
